This is no joke. Scientists have found a way to help men with genital abnormalities or injuries, thanks to lab-grown penises.

The scientists at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine are the same geniuses that figured out how to implant a lab grown organ into a human, it was a bladder back in 1999. So it sounds like they know what they're doing.

It all starts with a donor penis, I don't even want to start to think about where those might come from. Then, with some cell work and scientific magic, the penis can be ready for human use. Although the lab grown penises won't be available to women transitioning to men, they should be able to help human males in the next 5 years or so. The team plans to start trials on guys with the dreaded erectile dysfunction, and hopefully work up to fully replacing penises for men with abnormalities or injuries.

So there is hope for that insane rapper who cut off his own wiener and jumped out a window, hooray.
