Another edition of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards has come and gone, paying tribute to rock and metal artists who otherwise may never get the media attention deserved. The full 2014 ceremony, which clocked it at around four hours, experienced many ups and downs. Thus, we're recapping the most awesome and not-so-awesome moments from the show.
Lots of big names showed up to the Revolver Golden Gods Awards last night. One band made off with more than one award. That band was Avenged Sevenfold. They won not only the award for "Best Live Band." But also got the award for "Most Dedicated Fans."
The Revolver Golden God Awards have just announced a new batch of rockers to appear at the 2012 ceremony. Not only will Korn, Tenacious D, Dee Snider and Trivium present and perform in the show, but drummer Vinnie Paul will debut a never-before seen Pantera music video from the ‘Vulgar Display of Power’ recordings.
The fourth annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards are set to invade Los Angeles on April 11, with Marilyn Manson on deck to perform his first show in almost three years at the event. Other performers include Slash, Evanescence, Sixx: A.M. and Black Veil Brides. Further additions to the line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
