10 Items You Should Avoid Buying at Any Montana Walmart
What is your experience with shopping at Walmart? Mine has always been decent. But, that is mostly because I enjoy a store where you can get your groceries, do your taxes, and buy a new fishing rod all under one roof. In fact, I have even visited the original Walmart during a trip to Arkansas. I remember I bought the stinkiest catfish bait they had in stock.
Regardless of what you are looking for at Walmart, there are some things you should avoid. Just from past experience, I have learned a thing or two about what Walmart considers "quality."
For starters, I don't trust the ground beef at Walmart. After the whole "pink slime" scandal, I cannot bring myself to buy hamburger at Walmart. Just one look at what ground beef they offer, and you can tell that the pre-made patties and packaged ground beef is the same meat that they pack into the 10lb "meat logs."
We live in cattle country, we shouldn't have to resort to questionable burgers out of a tube. We can easily get fresh local beef for roughly the same price.
I also have had a hard time with furniture purchased at Walmart. Especially the furniture that has "some assembly required." These are usually made of low-quality wood. Sometimes glued-together particle board. The furniture never holds up to everyday use. Making your purchase a temporary fix to your home decor.
