Bitterroot College UM graduated 23 students at its traditional ceremony site - under the summer tent on the Daly Mansion grounds in Hamilton.

The May 12th graduation started with a welcome to students, faculty, friends and family from Bitterroot College Director Victoria Clark Friday afternoon.

Keynote Speaker Fran Albrecht of the Montana Board of Regents urged the graduates to follow their "their calling" through life, to be aware of opportunities and reach for them.

Also at the podium was Director of Program Development Dr. Roch Turner and the Student Address was given by Joey Madrid. A special award was presented to Dixie Stark, who has continued to champion the Bitterroot College since it was first proposed.

The motto of this year's class was "Nothing is Impossible for the Willing."
