The clock is ticking for you to get your sweetheart something special for Valentines Day. But, you better do something if you don't intend on sleeping on the couch. Why not do something all Montanans already enjoy doing? Like shoot guns and BLOW S#!T UP! All you need to do is add an artistic spin to your favorite past time, and you got yourself a Valentines Day masterpiece.

Tannerite is a legal explosive that anyone can buy at your local sporting goods store. Wikipedia describes Tannerite as "Tannerite is a brand of binary explosive targets used for firearms practice and sold in kit form. The targets comprise a combination of oxidizers and a fuel, primarily aluminium powder, that is supplied as two separate components that are mixed by the user. The combination is relatively stable when subjected to forces less severe than a high-velocity bullet impact."

Once a high velocity bullet penetrates the target, a chemical reaction takes place and an explosion takes place. The targets have been a popular in recent years for people doing gender reveal parties. Couples will fill a box with tannerite and colored chalk. When the "father to be" shoots the box, blue or pink chalk is blasted into the sky.

Our buddy Steve Jessup, host of Whiskey Weed and Woman, has somehow managed to combine tannerite, a .300 Win Mag, paint and canvas to create his valentine for his sweetie.
