Dave Portnoy Needs to Try ‘One Bite’ from These 3 Missoula Pizzas
No matter where your life may take you, there is a good chance you will find a place to eat that is a favorite among the locals. It is the "GO TO" spot for people who live and work in those communities every day. Finding these places isn't always easy, but it is typically worth the effort. If only there was someone to go around and rate all the best local spots.
Founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, has taken on the task of rating all the best "Mom and Pop" pizza restaurants across the northeastern US. He hosts social media content that he calls the "One Bite Pizza Review."
According to Wikipedia
One Bite Pizza Reviews is an internet show by Portnoy, in which he reviews pizza from restaurants around the world, ranking it on a scale of 0–10. In addition to Portnoy, some reviews feature celebrity guests. Portnoy rarely ranks a pizza above 9.0, but some of those he praised have experienced a transformative growth in popularity, going "viral, becoming a can't-miss attraction for legions of young, loud, and often inebriated Barstool diehards."
Recently one of Portnoy's reviews went viral after he got into an altercation with the owner of Dragon Pizza in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Portnoy's "One Bite Pizza Reviews" continue to get more and more popular. Which is allowing Portnoy to expand his search for the perfect pizza. We hope that someday Dave will find himself in Missoula, Montana. When he does, here are the 3 pizzas that he needs to review.
1) BIGA PIZZA
Biga Pizza has won many awards for its amazing pizza. Inspired by some of the same style pizza restaurants that Portnoy reviews in New England and the Northeast. Biga owner Bob Marshall was raised in New Jersey and attended UM's Culinary School before he opened Biga Pizza on West Main Street in Missoula. Dave typically sticks to just cheese pizzas, but I feel he should try a bite of the Flathead Cherry pizza too.
2) Snowbowl "Last Run Inn" Pizza
If Portnoy is looking for the perfect pizza, he may have to drive to the top of a mountain to find it. Anyone who has ever made the drive to Montana Snowbowl knows that you don't always have to go there just to go skiing. There have been many times that I have made the drive just for the pizza. Classic wood-fired "pub pizza" that Portnoy is sure to give a high ranking at high elevation.
3) Bridge Pizza
What can we say about Bridge Pizza that anyone from Missoula doesn't already know? It is good, it is consistent and it always satisfies that craving for a good slice. Portnoy always tends to criticize the crispness of the crust for most places he visits. Not too crisp, not too floppy. We feel that Bridge could easily pull down an 8 from "El Presidente" of Barstool Sports.
