Missoula Sounds: Demon Doll’s Comeback & Saving Abel Drama
Demon Doll is back, Missoula! After a multi-year break, the six-piece rock/metal band has returned to bring us their latest album, Finding Solace in Suffering, which will be released on Halloween, October 31st, 2025.
A New Lineup, A Heavier Sound
Founding members Jamal and Maggie Greely are joined by a new lineup: Willow on bass, Dylan on drums, Coleman Allen on guitar, and Leonard Trevino on guitar. All cranking out melodic heavy metal featuring post-metal and theatrical hard rock elements with a crushing rhythm section. Their sound has matured and evolved, now incorporating three guitars.
The Comeback We’ve Waited For
At the top of their “Return Month,” they’ll play two exclusive shows before the album release. If you’ve seen Demon Doll live before, you know how they get down. Not to mention their stage presence is on point. Complete with the creepy makeup.
Brandon Jordan’s ‘Addicted’ Drama
On the other side of the spectrum, country rock artist Brandon Jordan (known for his collabs with Saving Abel & Buckcherry) is bringing live music to the Root and Missoula. But, not without a little drama. First, his recent Saving Abel cover of “Addicted” was pulled, and now he’s not being allowed to perform it in concert. Brandon recently posted a very upset message on Instagram, writing, “I have idolized Jared (Saving Abel) for years now and I feel personally attacked.”
While he’s caught up in drama, Brandon is still hitting the road. You can catch him live at The Silver Coin in Hamilton on Sunday, August 17th, The Dark Horse Bar in Missoula on Monday, August 18th, and Rustic Hut in Florence on Wednesday, August 20th.
Will he bust out his version of "Addicted?" Judging by his country/rock persona, I'm willing to bet he rolls the dice.
