Montana doesn’t produce rock stars very often. But when it does, they stay.

Tim Montana just released a new song, Break Me Down, and it feels like a step up. Not just louder. Not just bigger. More real. You can hear it right away.

This One Comes From a Place of Reality

Tim recently told our Pal Chuck from Loudwire Nights about doing some self-digging lately. Therapy, life, trying to sort things out rather than dismissing them and moving forward. That shows up in his new track.

It still hits like a rock song is supposed to, but it carries weight. You can tell this one was not written just because. It came from somewhere deeper.

He’s said he has really dug into himself while writing this new music, and you can hear it. There’s a bit more honesty in this, and you still get a different edge to the song.

Filmed In the 406

And here’s the part that should make every Montanan sit up and take notice. The music video for Tim's new single was shot completely in Montana. And it looks incredible.

You get that big sky, that rugged country, that wide open feel; there isn’t a way to recreate it. It lends the video a little beauty and darkness that suits the song. It feels real because it is.

While Operating A Montana Roadhouse

While most artists are off to Nashville or LA, Tim Montana is going higher. He’s still rooted here. As a matter of fact, he owns and runs the Wise River Club out in Wise River, Montana. A legit, genuine roadhouse, not a tourist pit stop. The sort of place where you get a drink, listen to live music, and actually feel like you’re in Montana.

And yes, it’s co-owned with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, a fact that still feels crazy to say out loud.
