Devin Townsend Announces 2020 North American Tour With Haken + The Contortionist

Devin Townsend is finally hitting the road to perform music from Empath. Hevy Devy will tour North America beginning February 2020 with support from Haken and the Contortionist.

With the release of Empath, Devin Townsend brought fans his most ridiculous and wonderful album yet, expanding his wall of sound even further than he did with Transcendence. Devin teased his upcoming tour the past few days on Twitter, speaking of his nerves during rehearsal and appreciation for fans:

“Started rehearsing today, having to learn to sing and play new songs at the same time ... fun music to play though :)”

“I haven’t said it enough lately, but I am so thankful for the support from the audience. Its allowed me to do so much with this music. I admit the past few years I’ve been much more insular than I have been. Its been a bit of a struggle but I’m working through it. Thank you again.”

Devin’s roadshow will begin Feb. 27 in Toronto and wrap up March 25 in San Francisco. Check out the full list of dates below.
