Disturbed Side Project In The Works — Angel’s Rock Report

Disturbed frontman David Draiman will start work on his new side project with ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo at the end of the month.

He was Tweeting with fans about the project yesterday, saying that they'll start recording on May 31st and that he hasn't chosen a name but is "still throwing a few around." Draiman hopes to have an album out "before the new year."

OK I know we don't play these guys on The Blaze, they're mostly on alt rock stations, but they are incredible. One of my favs, you can see them at this year's Sasquatch Festival at the Gorge. Silversun Pickups have the second Top 10 album of their career. Neck of the Woods will debut at number-six on the Billboard 200 album chart with 41,000 copies sold, according to the latest SoundScan figures. The band's second album, 2009's Swoon, bowed at number-seven with 43,000 copies sold.
