The time of year is fast approaching for iced coffee. I loved iced coffee in the Spring and Summer. I often drink it in the afternoons as a pick me up or a treat, but have also been known to suck it down in the mornings on the way to work.

I love this recipe because it is super easy. I even have enough time to make this in the morning, which is saying something because I am the person who is always running late. Mornings and I just don’t get along.

I’ve also found another way to add a little extra coffee kick to this delicious mocha. All you have to do is add ice cubes made of coffee instead of just plain old water. Delicious and genius!

Easy Blended Iced Mocha

2 cups crushed ice

3/4 - cup strong black coffee

3/4 - 1 cup milk

3-4 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Whipped cream

Nutmeg

Throw the crushed ice, black coffee, milk and syrup into a blender. Blend until the desired texture is reached. Pour it into a nice tall glass and top it with whipped cream. Sprinkle a dab of nutmeg on top of the whipped cream.
