Emo Hairdos Could Lead To Lazy Eyes
If you know a kid who insists on wearing his sisters jeans and constantly has his hair in his face. Give him a pair of scissors. Because even though he feels "the world doesn't get me so I punch myself in the "junk" to feel pain." You are doing him a favor in the long run by finally convincing him to cut his hair. Let him know that, in a recent study, doctors have discovered that "Emo Hair Styles" could lead to that person developing a lazy eye.
According to Optometrist Andrew Hogan and NME.com : "If a young emo chap has a fringe covering one eye all the time, that eye won't see a lot of detail. And if it happens from a young age, that eye can become amblyotic."
Amblyotic is a fancy way of saying lazy eye. But some Doctors say that Hogan is wrong. It could eventually form a lazy eye, but only if the kid was born with the emo haircut. I guess that explains why Gerard Way, from MCR, always seems to be looking at the corner of the room.
