Fresh Snow in the Mountains – More Expected

It's another morning of fresh snow on Lost Trail Pass.

April is continuing to bring snowstorms into the Bitterroot Mountains and forecasters are expecting more in the coming days as we approach the month of May.

Most of the mountain passes in Montana are wet on the morning of April 26. However, snow is reported on the south edge of Montana into Idaho. West Yellowstone also received a new coating of the white stuff.

Drive carefully, and watch for ice in the shaded areas up in the mountain passes.
