The Grizzlies men's basketball team locked up the Big Sky Conference with a victory in front of a rambunctious Adams Center crowd of over 7,000 people. They defeated Weber State 66-51 Tuesday night and will host the Big Sky Tournament. The Griz D' stifled the Wildcats and held one of the nations best guards, Damion Lillard, well below their average. Will Cherry also set the record for the amount of steals all time as a Grizzly late in the second half. The crowd was absolutely BONKERS and The Griz fed off the fans the entire game.

This caps off a great stretch of games in which The Griz won 18 of 19, including revenge on a Weber State team who tossed them around in their last meeting in Utah.  Montana's 15-1 record is also the best conference mark in school history. Will Cherry led the way once again for The Grizzlies, with great defensive play and a game-high 23 points.

Congrats to the Grizzlies and good luck in the Big Sky tournament next week! Their first game is next Tuesday starting @ 8 p.m.Let's get out there and cheer our guys on to a Big Sky title!
