The Hamilton Broncs again dominated the play in Class A football Thursday night, defeating cross-valley rivals, the Stevensville Yellowjackets, by a score of 53-0. The game was played Thursday due to scheduling of high school officials. It was Hamilton's first home game of the season. The Broncs came out early and scored 21 points in the first quarter. They reached a 35 point lead in the 2nd quarter, so the game clock kept running under Montana high school rules. At the half, Hamilton led 42 to 0. It was 49 to 0 at the end of third quarter, with some younger Broncs getting playing time. The final score was Hamilton 53 Stevensville 0. Hamilton is 3 and 0 on the season, while Stevensville is 0 and 3.

Hamilton won their first scheduled home game in August 21-0 without taking to the field when Butte Central forfeited. Last week, they defeated Corvallis 53 to 6. Next week they host the Dillon Beavers at the Hamilton stadium. That game will be Friday, starting at 7 p.m. KLYQ will air the game at 1240 AM Radio, on www.klyq.com and on your free cellphone KLYQ app, available at the Apple and Android online app stores.
