Here’s How to Register to Vote in Montana
We're just a little over a month away from the next election, and it looks like it's going to be a pretty major one. And as someone who just moved here from New York a month ago, I needed to find out whether I'd even be able to vote here in Montana.
Turns out, yes I can! As long as you've lived in the state for more than 30 days before the election, you can participate. There are two ways to register to vote in Montana: either in-person (the deadline for which is November 6th) or, the easier way, by mail. The mailing deadline is October 9th, and all you have to do is print and fill out the National Voter Registration Form and send it to your local election office.
Simple enough, right? There's always reports about how only like a third of the population is actually voting, and that's absolutely insane. Especially considering how easy it is to register! So get on it if you haven't, and I'll see you at the polls.
