I got to be honest with you. I have officially downloaded TikTok and have shamelessly found myself going down the "endless rabbit hole" of videos. The amount of content streaming on TikTok is mindboggling. With users all over the world, lipsynching lines from goofy movies, performing trending dance videos, and even shirtless hairy guys doing backflips on rollerblades. However, my favorites are the ones featuring Montana content.

Recently, it has been a trend to label what your town would be if it was a car. I know that Missoula has been struggling with its stereotypical car choice for decades. Just one look at a parking lot in Missoula looks like a Subaru dealership. So we can go ahead and just ignore Missoula cars for now. But, what would the rest of the state drive if people only drove the stereotypical car for that particular town?

TikTok user @Issacm248, breaks it all down in a recent video.

Billings is for BMW

As someone who grew up in Billings, I can say that this is not far from the truth. The town has grown a lot in the past 20 years. Providing more and more jobs and expanding the middle-class income. Still, Billings is a little bit country and a little bit rock n roll. So it is too bad that BMW doesn't make giant lifted pickups, or I would say the stereotype is spot-on accurate.

Kalispell is for Mercedes

For decades, Kalispell has been on the map as a destination for people relocating from other states. It has the beautiful backdrop of Glacier National Park, along with Flathead lake. It is no wonder that the income levels are a little higher. With resort towns like Whitefish and Bigfork on either side of Kalispell, you can see why Mercedes might be a popular choice.

Bozeman is for Aston Martin drivers

When the rich and famous think of Montana, Bozeman is what they have in mind. Bozeman has been booming with families with higher income levels. The flood of people re-locating to Bozeman has helped coin the phrase "Zoom-town." Meaning people are able to bring their higher-paying salaries to Bozeman, by working remotely. With that, more and more residents of Bozeman can pretend to be James Bond and drive Aston Martin.

Butte is RAM TOUGH!

Butte used to be the richest hill on earth. When the mining operations were in full swing, the town was littered with millionaires. But, none of that money would have been made if it wasn't for the blue collared people of Butte. In the hometown of tough people like Evel Knievel and Dan O'Neill, it is no wonder the vehicle of choice in Butte is a "working man's" truck.
