I’ve been day dreaming about fall thanks to our recent couple days of cooler weather. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Along with fall comes all things pumpkin. Coincidentally, I also love pumpkin.

I love anything and everything with pumpkin, the edible and the inedible. The worst thing about fall is that people only make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. If I had my way, pumpkin pie would be the pie that was made for every holiday dinner.

Another amazing thing to give pumpkin flavor to is coffee. Pumpkin and coffee are a match made in heaven. Two of my most favorite things smashed into one hot delicious mess in my mouth. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer

1 cup milk

1 cup heavy whipping cream

4 tablespoons pumpkin puree

1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

4 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla

Pour the milk, whipping cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, syrup and vanilla into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, being sure to whisk the entire time. Once the mix starts to steam, remove it from heat and then strain the creamer before you pour it into the pitcher you are going to store it in. Allow the creamer to cool completely before using it.
