You have been shaking your fist in the air and yelling at the neighborhood kids for 364 days now. It is time you give them a little payback for not staying off your lawn. But, also give them some great nutrition advice at the same time. This Halloween, if you REALLY want to risk getting your house "egged" or "TP'd," then hand out some chocolate covered Brussels sprouts.

It's simple. Create a double boiler, using 2 sauce pans. In one sauce pan, put in 1 cup of water. Stack the other sauce pan on top of the one with water and fill with chocolate chips. Turn on heat to medium high and wait for water on bottom pan to boil. This should soften up the chocolate chips enough to make them creamy. Rinse and pat dry individual brussels sprouts. Dip them one by one into the melted chocolate. Place on a plate or piece of wax paper and let cool. Feel free to serve up to any trick or treater that you please.
