I was having a conversation with my 11-year-old yesterday. He was trying to convince me that taking a train from Missoula to San Diego would be the best way to travel. I listened patiently as he broke down the cost, travel time and amenities. After he was finished I told him that I would much rather pay double the cost of a train ride and just fly there especially when airlines like Frontier are offering up affordable deals.

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Frontier Airlines is offering up $30 tickets to select locations.

If you have been kicking around the idea of going of vacation. Or maybe you have been meaning to visit the extended family in the middle of nowhere. This could be your chance to fly for the cost of a tank of gas.

According to KPAX

The "100 Trips Under $30" promotion includes flights to and from various big cities in the U.S., including Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Chicago, New York City and Las Vegas. To book, customers must purchase nonstop travel on a Monday through Thursday or Saturday up until Nov. 13. Round-trip purchases aren't required, and you must make the reservation with a seven-day advance.
