Kid Rock Surprises Fan with Down Syndrome for his Birthday

You really have to admire Kid Rock. He has always kept his business in order, has helped and given back to his community and other neighborhoods all over the country, and has been kind to his fans. So we weren't really surprised to see this video of him showing up for his #1 fan's birthday.

Dan McGurk, who has Down Syndrome, posted a YouTube video in August, inviting Kid Rock to his 30th birthday party. He didn't hear back but that didn't mean Kid Rock didn't see it.

So there was Dan, with his family, celebrating his birthday at a restaurant in Michigan this past Monday, when Kid Rock bursts in with a cake singing Happy Birthday. Dan's face and response was fantastic.

And this also proves my point that you should always be wearing your favorite band's t-shirt...just in case.
