Linkin Park have shared their episode of Carpool Karaoke that was filmed just six days before Chester Bennington took his life.

Linkin Park’s Carpool Karaoke episode is part of the Apple Music series rather than the late night staple with James Corden. Comedian Ken Jeong hosts the clip, which shows Bennington in the driver’s seat. Jeong sits on the passenger side while Linkin Park rapper Mike Shinoda and DJ Joe Hahn chill in the back.

Chester Bennington is laughing and cracking jokes through the entire episode, painting a picture of a content and happy man. The episode becomes more bittersweet as you continue watching, as Bennington makes Linkin Park puns while jokingly recruiting Jeong to become the group’s newest member.

At first, the guys run through the classic Linkin Park track “Numb,” One More Light cut “Talking to Myself” and even “Under the Bridge” by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Later in the episode, Linkin Park and Ken Jeong opt for a slight change of scenery by hopping on a party bus with a giant karaoke system. Wearing Hawaiian leis and grasping inflatable guitars, the foursome go through Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” before grabbing a random older lady off the street to join them.

After belting out Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” the dudes transport back to the car and finish up the segment, Bennington seemingly remaining in good spirits until the final frame.

Linkin Park are encouraging fans to donate to the band’s new One More Light Fund to honor Chester’s memory. The One More Light Fund is being powered by Music for Relief, so click here if you’d like to make a contribution.
