A Missoula Store is Giving Gifts for Finding the Elf on the Shelf
If you have young kids at home you might be welcoming some additions to the family as we get into December and closer to Christmas. Around my place, we've seen the arrival of our annual Elf on the Shelf visitors known as Sparkles and Baby. My kids are pumped and the good news is they'll try and be on their best behavior for the next few weeks to ensure that Santa gets nothing but good reports from the elves.
Elf on the (store) Shelf
But who says the Elf on the Shelf is just for kids? It looks like the new SCHEELS store in Missoula is getting in on the fun for the holiday and I love the idea! Every day through Christmas Eve, Clark (like the river and explorer) will be hidden somewhere in the store and the first person to find him and post him on social media each day will win a gift.
I'm thinking that possible prizes could be any number of things! Gift cards, clothing, sporting goods, maybe Griz gear? If everything goes as I plan, maybe I can find Clark one day and the gift will be about ten pounds of fudge from the cafe inside of SCHEELS. That would be a score!
What a cool idea for a promotion
How fun is it to know there's an Elf on a Shelf (or on a display case, in a pile of clothes, in the shoe department, etc.) hidden around the store all month? Good luck in your search, maybe you'll find Clark and score a gift!
And since you're now in an Elf on the Shelf mood you can waste a couple of minutes watching Saturday Night Live have some naughty fun with the Christmas tradition.
