The Missoula County Attorney’s Office filed 19 new felony complaints this week. Since January 1st, they have filed 343 new criminal complaints. According to County Attorney Kirsten Pabst, six of the cases this week involved family violence or interpersonal violence.

“In the endangerment category, we filed six new criminal complaints,” Pabst said. “Three of those were felony DUI’s, which were fourth or subsequent offenses, and the other three involved fleeing from law enforcement. In the property crimes category, we charged two criminal mischief cases. In one case, the defendant got kicked out of the casino for fighting and threatening. He came back and allegedly threw an ash tray stand through the glass door, completely destroying it and causing damages believed to exceed $1,500.”

Pabst said her office also charged one theft case that involved a stolen truck.

“We charged four new felony drug cases,” Pabst said. “One involved possession of methadone, one involved possession of meth, the third involved meth and heroin, and the fourth involved meth, heroin, and methadone. We charged one new administrative crime, which was a fugitive from justice. In that case, the defendant allegedly is wanted in Washington for strangling his brother.”
