Missoula Woman Accused of Stealing Drugs While on Probation
Yet another Missoula probation violation case occurred this week on Tuesday evening, according to Missoula Police Public Information officer Travis Welsh.
"Missoula Police officers were called to an address in the 3200 block of Paxson street by probation and parole officers who had been conducting a search of a client identified as 32-year-old Genevieve McGrath," Welsh said. "They advised officers that during the course of their search that they identified drugs and drug paraphernalia."
McGrath was found to be in possession of marijuana, as well, as pharmaceuticals she is believed to have stolen from another woman.
"It appears that this was a person that knew her and had some level of trust with her," said Welsh. "It is a prescription medication, appears to be probably a benzodiazepine. They had information that she had been using narcotics from an informant."
McGrath was on probation after being convicted of drug possession and writing bad checks.
