Missoula Rural Fire was called to a car and house fire in Bonner late Tuesday afternoon. Assistant Fire Chief Brent Christofferson said the fire was suspicious in nature.

Missoula police arrested a man after he attempted to cash a stolen check. Spokesman Travis Welsh said the man faces multiple charges and remains in jail.
