Outside Magazine Names Missoula One of the ‘Best Towns Ever’…Dammit!

Publications need to quit spilling the beans about how awesome we are. The less big city folk moving in, the better, right? Sure we like their tourism dollars, but they can't stay.

That's how most Montanans really do feel, but I don't care who stays, I like to party. And the fact that we do like to party is just part of the charm that got Missoula ranked as one of the 'Best Towns Ever' in the latest issue of Outside magazine, which hits newsstands today.

Missoula's excellent food scene, beautiful neighborhoods, and incredible access to the outdoors is what helped our friendly little town advance through the magazine’s 64-town bracket-style tournament, in which readers cast over 1.5 million votes. According to votes, Missoula is in the top 10 greatest places to live in America. Agreed.
