No matter if you are new to the area, or a Missoula O.G., you know this town has a great sense of community and fun. You have to see this amazing event at the "M.U.D".

On an almost daily basis, I am blown away by how many amazing community members, classes, fundraisers, and all-around positive influences this town has. There is definitely no shortage when it comes to the M.U.D (Missoula Urban Demonstration). Founded in 1981, the MUD they have kept to a very simple mission:

MUD empowers people to build a more sustainable community through tool sharing and hands-on learning. Missoula MUD

And they are back with another exciting Earth Day celebration. The Missoula Urban Demonstration presents its 17th annual "Our Earth - Our Home" festival.

This event is a family-friendly, educational day for everyone. It will all happen at the MUD (1527 Wyoming Street). They will have food vendors, an environmental expo, live music, a bicycle tuning station, and even games like "chicken poop bingo". Seriously!

The educational classes can be a big help to many Missoulians as well. They will focus on urban gardening, raising chickens, cutting back on waste, and making our homes more energy efficient.

As I said this event is fun and educational for the whole family. If you would like to volunteer or have a business that would like to sponsor the event or just get involved, check out the application sheet here.
