Police Investigate Shooting at Fresh Market on Reserve
Missoula police and emergency vehicles responded to a shooting incident that occurred on Monday evening at the Missoula Fresh Market on South Reserve.
Sergeant Matt Stonesipher provided more information.
“On May 4th at approximately 8:07 p.m. Missoula police were called to a business in the 3800 block of South Reserve Street for a report of a person shot,” said Stonesipher. “Upon arrival, officers located a subject with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid before the arrival of medical personnel and the injured subject was transported to the hospital.”
Stonesipher said police then conducted an investigation into the shooting.
“Officers located all involved parties and the investigation is ongoing,” he said. “The Missoula Police Department did not believe there was any outstanding danger to the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact MPD Detectives McCarthy or Harris at 552-6300.”
Reports from the scene state that a man in his 30’s was wounded and taken to the hospital.
