Every year since the twin towers in New York fell after the terrorist attacks on September 11th in New York, Washington, D.C. and in the air above Pennsylvania, the Stevensville fire Department has had a respectful ceremony remembering those who were lost, including those heroes who gave their lives trying to save others.

This year, the Stevensville Fire Department and Stevensville Police Department will have the 17th annual silent emergency vehicle procession on Main Street at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. It will be followed by a ceremony in Veterans Park on the north end of Main Street at about 11 a.m. Following the memorial, a lunch at the fire department headquarters on Buck Street will be hosted by American Legion Post 94 of Stevensville.
