Welcome to the first official day of Summer here in Montana. It is the longest day of the year. The summer solstice. So far temperatures have been pretty mild compared to summers past. But, you can bet that the temperatures will rise to uncomfortable levels sooner than later. Before you know it, you will be scouring the cooler for a cold beverage. Something that will not only quench your thirst but also cool you off. Maybe you are not the only one looking for a cold beverage. Might as well step outside your basic cooler and build yourself something a little more...CLASSY.

For me, Summer is all about beer and BBQ. If you have any BIG barbecues planned, you need to WOW your guests. And not just with your homemade sauce, or your fancy paper plates. You need to class it up a little. Instead of keeping all your beer in a fancy cooler, try a beer fountain. Our old pal, Steve Jessup, gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make a Beer Fountain. From episode #112 of the hit YouTube series, Whiskey, Weed and Women.

Here is what you will need.

1) BEER...Lots of BEER

2) 5-gallon buckets

3) 3 kids pools in various sizes (plastic or inflatable)

4) scrap plywood sheeting

5) A garden fountain pump

6) ICE... Lots of ICE

7) Probably MORE BEER.

Steve has step-by-step instructions on how to assemble your fountain.

Make your upcoming summer BBQ both redneck and classy at the same time. Your guests are guaranteed to enjoy the beer fountain. Plus, don't forget the best part...Getting in the fountain. It's beer heaven on a hot summer day.
