For many years, most Missoula high school students have had the ability to go to the school of their choice regardless of where they live in the county, but that option is getting increasingly difficult.
A group of Stevensville High School students staged a protest on the school grounds on Wednesday afternoon over the firing of a high school guidance counselor, Steven Coop, and have received zeroes for their missed classes.
Missoula’s Hellgate High School made U.S. News and World Report’s list of top high schools in Montana this week. The school is one of just two AA schools in the state to make the ranked list.
