Veterans Day in the Bitterroot Valley was noted by at least two ceremonies Friday, November 11, 2016.

At 11 a.m., a small group of Corvallis area vets marched along Corvallis' Main Street - first to the south and then, turning around, back to the north. Lining up along curbs were grade school kids from Corvallis schools, many with handmade American flags.

At 2 p.m. the main Hamilton ceremony took place at the Ravalli County Museum, where a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps accompanied the laying of wreaths at the World War One doughboy statue on the museum lawn.

KLYQ has some video of both ceremonies. Thank you, Veterans!
