Just because the weather gets a little colder soon, doesn’t mean that Missoula and Western Montana close the blinds and hibernate for the winter. In fact, the opposite is true.     No matter what time of year it is, the fishing is always great in and around Missoula. Whether it’s ice fishing at one of the many local lakes or fly fishing in your waders and jacket, there’s still fish to catch, even when the seasons change.

    Fall in Missoula means football. The University of Montana homecoming and Grizzly football are a Missoula tradition. If you’re looking for a good time tailgating, a good ball game and an all around good time, then a Grizzly home game is for you.

    It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, Missoula’s breweries and wineries are always open. If you love microbrews, then this is the place for you. Missoula is home to numerous breweries so we’re sure to have something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

    Western Montana is home to some very relaxing natural hot springs. With five to choose from not far from Missoula, you can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a way to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
