1,000 Italian Musicians Perform ‘Learn to Fly’ in Attempt to Bring Foo Fighters to Town

Well this almost made me weep, and I don't weep. One thousand Italian musicians came together to perform "Learn to Fly" with one solid goal.

The musicians are petitioning to get the Foo Fighters to play Cesena, Italy. Typically, I find it annoying when groups get together and put bands under this kind of pressure. Only because there is a set schedule for tours and most bands can't just do whatever they want. But this one really impressed me, and as you have witnessed from past Foo shenanigans, like playing in fans' garages and making an entire album in Dave's garage, the Foos are a band who will do whatever they want, and anything to please their fans.

Love the creativity of these musicians and it's really inspiring to see the diversity in the group. Especially the kiddos on instruments and the proper t-shirts being worn. The group is called 'Rockin' 1000' and their leader gives a very heartfelt speech at the end. I can't imagine the Foos will let them down, and I NEED one of those Rockin' 1000 t-shirts!
