This year will be the 24th annual celebration of Missoula's Sister City partnership with Neckargemund, Germany. To celebrate there will be a big party on Sunday, September 3rd from 2:00-6:00pm at Caras Park. To make this event event better, it is free for everyone to attend.

The Vancouver BC-based S-Bahn will be returning again this year as the headliner. There will be plenty of bratwurst, pretzels, dessert, pop, and German beer for sale, as well as commemorative beer steins. The food will be provided by Covered Wagon Hot Dogs and Black Cat Bakery, beer will be provided by Bayern Brewing.

Back to emcee the event for another year is Missoula mayor John Engen, and Bayern Brewmaster Jurgen Knoeller will be on hand to tap the Oktoberfest wooden keg.

There will be beer steins for sale, children's activities, and information about our sister city in Neckargemund. Several local businesses have donated items for a raffle to benefit Missoula's high school students visiting our sister city.
