It's October, which means it is officially Scary Movie Season. Lots of people are getting their horror on, some are even watching a new horror movie every day leading up to Halloween.

We all have our movie traditions (mine is to make sure to watch the amazing movie Trick 'r Treat at some point this month every year), and if you're in Montana, there's a good chance you'll be watching George Romero's zombie classic Dawn of the Dead this month.

That's because, according to this chart of every state's favorite horror movieDawn of the Dead is Montana's number one. And it's a great choice! Heck, I might even watch it when I get home tonight now that I'm talking about it.

Some states have really obvious picks - of course Texas would pick The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and of course the people completely surrounded by water in Hawaii would pick Jaws. What surprised me is that a LOT of states ended up picking The Ring, and it's like, are people still scared of The Ring these days? We don't even have videotapes anymore!

What are your thoughts? Do you think Dawn of the Dead is a good pick, or are you looking for something scarier?
