Easy Way to Lose $400k – Montana Ferrari Destroyed in Cornfield

There are days when I sit and daydream about what I would do if I won the lottery. What kind of stupid things I would do with a stupid amount of money? Things like buying a monster truck and taking it elk hunting. Or purchasing a ranch and raising only those adorable mini cows. But, what about shelling out half a million dollars for a sportscar, just so you can destroy it in a cornfield? That is exactly what happened to a gorgeous Ferarri with Montana plates, and it was all caught on tape.

Cody Detwiler, otherwise known as WhistlinDiesel, is a YouTuber who is known for his crazy antics with cars and trucks. Posting videos of insane automobile stunts like driving a monster truck in the ocean or putting wagon wheels on a sportscar. His insane footage has got him over 6 million subscribers on YouTube alone.

Apparently, Cody has some money to spend. He recently bought a 2020 Ferrari F8 for $400,000. He bought the car with the intention of destroying it. Or at least pushing the car to its absolute limit. He quickly found how easy it is to destroy a $400,000 vehicle.

In one of WhistlinDiesel's YouTube videos, Cody and his camera crew decided to take his red Ferrari on a joy ride through a cornfield. I'm pretty sure Ferraris are not intended to drive in cornfields. Let's just say things heated up quickly as Cody's new car was engulfed in flames.

I regret to inform everyone that my $400,000 Ferrari F8 and rental minivan with only 5,000 miles on it has recently burned down to a pile of ash. This was a complete accident and I originally intended on filming so many more things with the car, but this was a great lesson to do even more crazy things before your car catches on fire. So, now we ask ourselves, why did this former sportscar (now cremated) have Montana plates?

We looked into it and it appears that WhistlinDiesel has an LLC in Kalispell. No word on why, but we are assuming it is to take advantage of Montana's tax laws on vehicles. Which makes it significantly cheaper to register vehicles, especially luxury vehicles.
