Top 5 Area Codes That Montana Residents Should Avoid Answering
Are you tired of receiving spam phone calls? It seems like they never stop. In fact, now that I think of it, I cannot remember the last time I went a full day without receiving a spam phone call. I actually just received one shortly before writing this. It is truly getting out of hand.
There are lots of scammers out there trying to take your money.
I can remember the day I got an obvious attempt at being scammed. I received a call from an out-of-state phone number that was informing me that I was "the winner of a brand new Mercedes and a briefcase filled with $2 million dollars cash." I knew immediately that it was a scam. But, I decided to play along for a minute to see how it went. Before I knew it, I was told that I could not claim my prize until I bought $500 worth of gift cards to pay for the delivery of my car and briefcase full of money. When i finally had enough of the lies, I told the caller I wasn't interested. I immediately got called every hateful curse word in the book as well as a handful of death threats. When I reported the number to authorities, I was told that the number was based out of Jamaica. That is a long drive in a Mercedes.
