The Hamilton-Browning high school Friday night football game has been postponed and moved to Butte on September 9.

The smoky conditions, with a consistent "Unhealthy" air quality level caused Hamilton school officials to move the game.

The non-conference football game will be Saturday afternoon, September 9, at 1 p.m. in Naranche Stadium in Butte. The site was picked to find a site with less smoke, with an eye to travel distances for the Browning and Hamilton teams.

This is just one of many western Montana football and soccer games that have been postponed due to the smoky conditions.
