The Hamilton Bronc football team was given a sendoff (which included the pep band) Friday morning at Hamilton High School. They got on the Bronc bus and made stops at Daly School, Washington School and the Hamilton Middle School, slapping hands the kids and receiving supportive cheers from kids, teachers and staff.

The bus headed to Missoula, where the team received permission to practice at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. After that, a bus ride to Columbia Falls. After spending the night in the north country, the team will make the short hop Saturday morning, November 18, over to the Columbia Falls football field for the State Class A Championship game against the Wildcats.

1240 Newstalk KLYQ will carry the live play-by-play, starting shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday. The game will also be heard online at www.klyq.com "Listen Live," and on your cellphone with the free "KLYQ" app from the app store or the Apple store. You can even set up your Echo with Alexa to hear the game on that speaker system.

KLYQ reminds Griz-Cat College Football listeners that the Brawl of the Wild will be on KGVO 1290 AM and KGVO-FM at 98.3. After the Hamilton game, KLYQ will join the Cat-Griz broadcast.
