JC Gets Inked at Body Ink

Tucked away and hard to find, Body Ink (801 Sherwood St, Suite H) is one on Missoula's newest tattoo and piercing shops in town. I say hard to find because I got lost looking for it about three times, but then again, I have the directional sense of a retarded pigeon. I was overdue for some new ink and had been talking to Erik and Red at body ink for the last few weeks.  I am very picky about what I have on my body and all my tattoo's are originally my artwork.  Any tatt I have gotten before this has been solid black with no shading incorporated, so I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone. I took in one of my old drawings and asked Erik what he thought we could do with it. I loved the design and knew it would end up on my body some day.  It turned out even better than I imagined! The darker shading really makes the tattoo and I am planning on getting more work done there in the future.  Body Ink has gift certificates up for grabs in the I Love Missoula Auction.
