Missoula Breweries Offering Beer Deals For Government Workers
The government shutdown has affected tons of different organizations across the country, but it might be hitting certain government employees the worst of all. They can't show up to work during the shutdown, and many are going without pay as a result.
To make things a little easier on them, some Missoula breweries are pitching in by offering some discounted beers to anyone with a government ID.
Highland Beer is offering to serve their first beer for $1 all day long on Tuesday, January 15th. Meanwhile, Imagine Nation Brewing is holding "Federal Worker Wednesdays" and "Furlough Fridays," where federal employees can get $2 off their first beer on each day.
I'm sure most of these employees would take going back to work over the cheap beer, but the beer definitely helps. The shutdown is now the longest in American history with no end in sight.
