The Missoula County Attorney’s office was busy prosecuting 13 felony cases this past week including two that involved intoxicated drivers. Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst explains.

“We had the vehicular homicide while under the influence case,” said Pabst. “There was a criminal endangerment where a man was allegedly driving his F-350 with a snow plow attached the wrong way down I90. There were at least three other vehicles that had to take action to avoid a collision.”

The office dealt with two burglary cases and two theft cases, as well a series of assault charges that stemmed from what Past describes as an incident of “road rage”

“Assault with a weapon times three, it was one man charged with three counts of assault with a weapon,” Pabst said. “I am going to call that a road rage case where he drew a pistol and threatened three individuals that were in another vehicle.”

Other crimes handled by the county include forgery and assault on a minor.
