Centerfield Cinema at Ogren Park - in which the Missoula Paddleheads have teamed up with The Roxy Theater to screen movies on the scoreboard - has been a huge success, drawing in huge, socially-distanced crowds for Purple RainThe Goonies, and Mean Girls so far. They've been announcing the lineup as they go, and now we finally have a full picture of what July is going to look like.

So tonight, as previously announced, they're showing Jaws, a perfect Fourth of July movie. After that is Mad Max: Fury Road and Mamma Mia!, both of which are exciting, but we already knew they were coming.

So what's the new info we've got? Well, here you go: On July 23rd, Missoula will come on and SLAM and get welcomed to the JAM - the Space Jam, that is! A lot of '90s kids will be coming out for that one, and I expect to see the entire field grooving to its excellent soundtrack.

Speaking of great soundtracks, that leads us to the final movie for July - on the 30th, the Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense is being shown. If you haven't seen it, you gotta go - this is one of the best concert movies ever made, David Byrne was/is one of the most charismatic performers alive, and this will help scratch the itch of missing out on live music this summer.

You can get tickets for all of the showings at gopaddleheads.com, and I'd recommend doing so soon - these things can fill up fast, and both Goonies and Mean Girls ended up selling out.
